Cardo Packtalk Bold

Cardo Packtalk Bold is the new voice activated rider communication system from Cardo. In Cardo’s own words their aim is to keep your hands on the bars and eyes on the road and that’s exactly what this system does.

We have used Cardo communication systems for many years and have run the Packtalk with tour groups in the US and Europe.

The system works brilliantly with every rider in the group individually connected, so if the group gets split up the two separate groups can still talk to each other, then they automatically reconnect when they come back within range.

The sound quality is great and the way it deals with wind noise is impressive meaning you can actually hear each other whilst riding at speed!

They’ve now introduced a JBL speaker set for those who want even higher quality when listening to music on the go.

Battery power lasts for a full days riding, so no need to recharge during the day, just when you get back to your accommodation at night. We use the system a lot when we’re filming and preparing the shots, notifying each other of traffic and hazards approaching and the system lasts the entire day.

We’ve used and abused our Cardo Packtalk Bolds; in freezing conditions such as our Winteride Adventure in Mammoth lakes and the torrential downpours in the rainy season in Touring Thailand and we have never once had an issue with them and battery life still worked all day.
